Research

Sound, with its extraordinary ability to influence body, mind and emotions, is a powerful tool for transformation.

My research and outreach activities are dedicated to exploring how sound vibrations can promote well-being and personal growth, integrating art, science and spirituality.

Conferences

I have had the privilege of sharing my work in international contexts such as TEDx Bologna, the Globe Sound Healing Conference in the United States and theISQRMM (Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine). On these occasions, I have explored the role of sound and the harp in therapeutic, holistic and spiritual settings, bringing to the public my vision of the impact of sound frequencies in promoting balance and healing.

Publications

Among my main publications is the book ‘Una Melodia per l'aere luminoso', in which I explore the link between music and healing practices through the universality of Dante Alighieri's vision. This work represents a milestone in my journey, linking artistic and literary tradition to sound research.

In this section you will find a collection of resources including:

  • Scientific and informative articles on harp therapy, sound healing and vibroacoustics.

  • Publications merging art, science and spirituality, investigating the therapeutic impact of sound on psychophysical well-being.

  • Musical scores, designed for musicians and sound therapists, to integrate the harp and other sound instruments into creative and healing practices.

Books

Resonances - Soon in English

Copertina Gubri_Resonance ENGs (2)_page-0001.jpg

Marianne Gubri invites us, through Resonances, to rethink music as an art of relationship and transformation. Using the harp as a guiding thread, she explores the power of sound at the intersection of mythology, artistic creation, contemporary research, and therapeutic practices.

Resonances is addressed to harpists, musicians, sound practitioners, healthcare professionals, and to all those who seek, through sound, a path of harmony and meaning.

Scores

Arcani

Marianne Gubri Arcani.png

In this series of 22 musical arcana, I wanted to transpose this initiatory and philosophical journey towards wisdom into a form of meditation to be played with one's own instrument.

Short, modern, and simple pieces, based on the theory of medieval humors, where ancient rhythms and modes created different emotions, to immerse oneself in a sonic introspection.

Choose a card and let yourself be guided by inspiration to improvise or compose in turn!

Ankaa

12 pieces composed on each musical note, to enter into a more intimate and meditative resonance with each being.

Four moments that evoke the seasons and the elements, to alternate the energies of the day, to elevate concentration, creativity, sensitivity, and calm.

Believe

Believe-Cover-360x465.png

This collection includes seven original pieces inspired by Celtic, modern, minimalist, and healing music. Relaxing melodies and rhythms fill each piece of this meditative collection.

Vita Nuova

254758730_10226932620411142_5000351426823285412_n.jpg

From reading Dante's works, the desire was born to create new music for his texts, a receptive vessel that can embrace the poet's most precious jewels, bringing to the present day the strength, value, and modernity of his thought. A New Life as a guiding thread: the ability for renewal and innovation, and the possibility to orient our thoughts, emotions, and actions for the creation of the world we desire.

Menhir

Marianne Gubri Menhir Full Score per stampa_page-0001.jpg

A journey back to the Stone Age, a prehistoric time in which giant stones marked a spiritual path. A leap forward into the minimalist future, in the innovative metalwork of the Hang. A journey adorned with precious gems: from sparkling diamonds to Lapis Lazuli; from Aquamarine, whose color evokes Celtic oceans and bardic harps, to sand, which, moved by the wind, transforms into Desert Rose, then, sinuously, flows into an hourglass, following the rhythm of its dreams.

Il Simbolismo dell'arpa

Marianne Gubri Il simbolismo dell'arpa_page-0001.jpg

In the article Il simbolismo dell'arpa, I explore the symbolic value of the harp in various cultures and traditions. This instrument has always been associated with harmony, spirituality, and the connection between heaven and earth. Through representations in art, mythology, and philosophy, its role as a bridge between the visible and the invisible emerges. A journey through images and meanings reveals the profound relationship between sound, symbolism, and human experience."
